  2. Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things. And the reason they were able to do that was that they’ve had more experiences or they have thought more about their experiences than other people. Unfortunately, that’s too rare a commodity. A lot of people in our industry haven’t had very diverse experiences. So they don’t have enough dots to connect, and they end up with very linear solutions without a broad perspective on the problem. The broader one’s understanding of the human experience, the better design we will have.

I’ve been lacking in my writing as of late, letting life get in the way, as it often does. And I almost started to believe that perhaps I am not really a creative. Perhaps I’ve been fooling myself. I mean, what have I produced? What do I have to show for my creativity? What have I really created? Reading this however puts it all in perspective. I am a creative. I spend more time thinking of the small details that most people over look, reading and becoming instantly motivated to pen what my imagination connects in a
moment and scribbling them on napkins that will ultimately find their way to the bottom of the trash, than anyone I know. Ive now promised myself to stop tossing those.

  4. I did this, and in my own way, said this not too long ago. I sometimes think of him. But I know that although he said he wanted to be in my life forever, he never acted as such, and I don’t need him to be. :)

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made from—things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.
Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve—bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.
There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.
But, hey, at least it tastes good, right?
High five, America!

OMG I already can’t drink soda because of the ads on the MTA!! now no CHICKEN (Or processed chicken anyway) I’m going to the Vivero!! http://adweek.blogs.com/.a/6a00d8341c51c053ef0120a538798b970b-pi
